The NetBeez Dashboard is a browser-based application that provides a comprehensive view of your network’s health and performance.
The Dashboard displays information about Agents, Targets, WiFi networks, Tests, and Alerts, and provides an intuitive interface that enables efficient management of these monitoring devices and tools. The Dashboard utilizes a number of tabbed views:
The Buzz Tab is the landing page of your NetBeez Dashboard. This tab provides you with a high level view of your network and any resources you are monitoring. The Buzz Tab visualizations help you identify and investigate issues with Agents, Targets, and WiFi networks. The Buzz Tab also features a comprehensive Incident view, which shows recent and current incidents from Agents and Targets.
The Agent View, accessed by selecting the Agents tab, displays all the agents and the current status of the respective tests they are running.
You can click on an Agent list entry or thumbnail to see more information about it, the tests it is running, and manage its settings. The filter controls enable you to sort and filter Agents by a number of attributes.
The Target View, accessed by selecting the Targets tab, displays all Targets and the current status of the respective tests conducted on them.
You can click on a Target list entry or thumbnail to see more information and manage its settings. The filter controls enable you to sort and filter Targets by a number of attributes.
The WiFi View, accessed by selecting the WiFi tab, displays information about the WiFi networks you are monitoring with wireless Agents.
You can click on a WiFi network list entry to see more information about it, including WiFi incidents, performance metrics, Agents and associated BSSIDs, and alerts.
The Ad-Hoc Testing panel enables you to run ad-hoc ping, DNS, HTTP, Traceroute, Iperf, network speed, and VoIP tests.
The NetBeez dashboard provides comprehensive historical reporting via the Reports Tab. These reports offer insight into long term trends and access to past performance data. The available types of reports are Network Summary reports, Agent reports, Target reports, and scheduled test reports.
The Alerts tab displays a table of recent and current alerts. Additionally, while using other tabs, you can access a quick view list of current alerts by clicking the footer.
Access the NetBeez Settings by clicking the gray cog icon in the upper right of the Dashboard. From the Settings, you are able to manage licensing, users, data retention settings, API keys, integrations, alert and incident setup and notification, and the Agent blacklist.
