Agent Configuration - Name/Rename Agent


By default, each Agent is automatically assigned a name made up of its IP address and the last four digits of its MAC address. You can assign custom names to Agents.


Access the Agent menu. You can access the Agent menu from the Agent Details view by clicking the cog in the top right of the panel.
  1. Select Rename Agent.
  2. Input the Agent's name in the input box.
  3. Click on the Save changes button to rename the Agent.


Alternatively, you can also rename an Agent from the Agent Inventory View.  Once in the Agent Inventory View, click the name or IP address of the Agent you like to name or rename.  The name in the cell will become editable.
