If your Agent was shipped with a WiFi adapter attached, then it is already configured as a wireless Agent and no action is required.
If your Agent does not have a WiFi adapter attached, then it is a wired Agent.
If you received WiFi adapters not connected to Agents, you can convert any wired FastE Agent to wireless by simply plugging the WiFi adapter into any of the Agent's USB ports. The Agent will reboot two times. Afterward, it will appear on your dashboard as a wireless Agent.
- If you converted an Agent from wired to wireless while your dashboard was open, you must refresh your browser to see the Agent as wireless.
- If the Agent already had tests configured on it, the tests will fail until you connect the Agent to a wireless network.
