Configure Syslog Alert Notifications

Description

Configure NetBeez to send alert notifications as Syslog messages.

 

Procedure

To enable Syslog messages:

1. Access NetBeez Settings by clicking the gray Settings cog in the upper right corner of the dashboard
2. Access the Syslog Alerts Settings Tab
3. Input the following information:
1. Syslog server IP address
2. The server port
3. Facility 
4. Select the items for which you would like to receive Syslog notifications.  The options are incidents and alerts.
5. Click Save
6. Click Test to test the configuration.
