Configure Syslog Alert Notifications

Description

Configure NetBeez to send alert notifications as Syslog messages.

Procedure

To enable Syslog messages:
  1. Access NetBeez Settings by clicking the gray Settings cog in the upper right corner of the dashboard.
  2. Access the Integrations subtab.
  3. Click the On button for the Syslog section.
  4. Input the following information:
    1. Server Host: Syslog server IP address
    2. Port: The server port
    3. Facility: Enter facility in this field
  5. Click Save
  6. Click Test to test the configuration.
After Syslog has been configured, navigate to the Notification Settings tab to select which notifications will be sent.
