Release Notes - Version 14.1

New Features

  • Scheduled Test Alerts: Users can create new Scheduled Test specific Alert Profiles that can be attached to Scheduled Tests. Users can then receive alerts when an Alert Profile is violated via SMTP, Slack, MS Teams, and Syslog.
  • Scheduled Test Run Modes: Users can now set Scheduled Tests to run in parallel, serial, or random modes.
    • Parallel mode is how Scheduled Tests have always previously run with NetBeez and that functionality will continue to be the same where all associated Agents run the Scheduled Test at the same time.
    • Serial mode will run a Scheduled Test for the associated Agents one after another.
    • Random mode will run a Scheduled Test for the associated Agents and random intervals within a run window.
  • IPv6 Ping Tests: Users can now configure ping tests to target endpoints with IPv6 addresses and tell Agents to exclusively use an IPv6 address.

Improvements

  • Agent: Monitoring Condition performance improvements.
  • Agent: Errors returns more accurate error message when Iperf encounters a connection issue with Iperf server.
  • Agent: DNS Monitoring Conditions now can check FQDN as well as IP address.
  • Agent: Improved check regarding wireless interface dissociation reason to prove a full bounce of the interface.
  • Agent: PMF is now allowed for WPA2.
  • Agent: Monitoring Conditions now support checking of host.
  • Agent: Monitoring Conditions now supports checking if interface.
  • UI: When Date Picker presents are selected they are now applied immediately and Date Picker closed.
  • UI: When filtering Monitoring Conditions while using the Scheduled Test wizard, when no matching options appear a message now displays to that affect.
  • UI: Alert Profiles now allow Decimals for Baseline and Watermark alert types.
  • UI: The Agent List can now be exported as a CSV.
  • UI: General Dashboard performance improvements when Dashboard is left open for several hours.
  • UI: WiFi Performance Buzz tab widget now shows network name.
  • UI : PMF is now allowed for WPA2 configured WiFi networks.
  • UI: Users are not automatically navigated to the Remote Worker Agent tab if no Network Agents exist.
  • UI: Path Analysis Tests now have pause/resume button.
  • UI: WiFi related tooltips now show network name to help identify between WiFi Networks when WiFi Hopping Groups are used.
  • UI: Scheduled Test graphs have had animations removed so they could be rendered more quickly.
  • UI: Responsive hops on Path Analysis graphs now have improved color.
  • UI: Adds Host and Interface Monitoring Conditions.
  • UI: When filter Agent Selector component, if no results are returned a message now displays to that affect.

  • Agent: Resolves issue where in some cases Windows Remote Worker Agent configuration file gets wiped.
  • Agent: Resolves issue where MacOS 14.4 depreciated airport utilities that were used to get MCS, SSID, and BSSID.
